TCS has completed the installation of an advanced suspension crane system at a manufacturing facility in India, strengthening the plant’s material handling capabilities. The new system has been designed to improve the movement of heavy components within the facility while making better use of available overhead space.
The suspension crane operates on roof-mounted tracks, eliminating the need for floor-mounted support columns and allowing greater flexibility on the shop floor. According to the company, the installation is expected to improve workflow efficiency, enhance lifting precision and provide safer handling of materials during production operations.
The project reflects the growing adoption of advanced crane technologies across India’s manufacturing sector as companies continue to modernise their facilities. With increasing investments in automation and efficient material handling systems, suspension crane installations are becoming an important part of improving industrial productivity and workplace safety.
