ABUS Crane Systems has installed two Pillar VS jib cranes at Jonesco’s manufacturing facility to support tooling operations. The cranes will help the Mould Engineering Team handle tools more safely and efficiently during production.

The cranes will be utilised to load and unload tools onto a 3.5-metre rotational moulding machine and will assist operators in removing finished products from the mould. Jonesco specialises in manufacturing rotationally moulded safety products, such as vehicle mudguards, fire safety equipment, toolboxes, and hazardous liquid containment systems.

The installation is pertinent to India’s manufacturing sector, where the efficient handling of heavy tools and moulds is critical to guaranteeing smooth production. Jib cranes can assist manufacturers in enhancing workstation lifting, minimising manual handling, and optimising the use of available floor space.
