Yaplex has completed the installation of a lifting system featuring a 500 kg safe working load jib crane, an electric chain hoist, and a battery-powered vacuum lifter. The system is designed to improve the handling of large metal sheets while supporting safer and more efficient operations.

The battery-powered vacuum lifter allows operators to handle sheets without a permanent electrical supply or compressed-air connection. The setup provides more flexibility when moving materials and helps reduce manual handling while allowing smoother positioning of large sheets.

The company said the system is intended to improve both safety and productivity during material handling. Yaplex designs and manufactures standard and customised lifting and material handling equipment for industrial applications, with its installations also subject to load testing and inspection.
