RGM Cranes has announced the acquisition of Crane Fab, a South African overhead crane fabricator specialising in girder and structural fabrication. Crane Fab was established in 1996 and is led by Eric Moll and Robert Craig.

The acquisition is anticipated to enhance RGM Cranes’ control over quality, boost manufacturing capacity and improve the delivery of overhead crane solutions. Crane Fab brings valuable experience in custom metalwork, encompassing both small-scale builds and large structural fabrication projects.

RGM Cranes said the agreement unites the experience and capabilities of both companies, with Crane Fab’s fabrication expertise enhancing RGM’s current engineering and technical operations. RGM Cranes offers crane manufacturing, servicing, modernisation and lifting solutions throughout Southern Africa.
