Paradip Port Advances 1 MW Green Hydrogen Plant Plan

Paradip, Odisha: Paradip Port Authority has moved ahead with plans to develop a 1 MW electrolyser-based green hydrogen plant and procure eight hydrogen fuel-cell buses. The port has invited tenders for project management consultancy services for the initiative.

The consultancy contract is valued at ₹2.18 crore and will cover the technical and project management work for the hydrogen plant and vehicle procurement. The selected consultant will oversee the project and support its implementation.

The tender process is part of Paradip Port’s wider push to develop green hydrogen capabilities and cleaner transport at the port. Bids are due by September 2, 2026, with the opening scheduled for the following day.
