Kalmar Signs Crane Maintenance Deal for 40 Cranes at TTI Algeciras

Kalmar Signs

Kalmar has signed a service agreement with Total Terminal International Algeciras (TTI Algeciras) covering maintenance of 40 container handling cranes. The agreement includes preventive and corrective maintenance for eight ship-to-shore cranes and 32 automated stacking cranes.

The maintenance support will cover the terminal’s crane fleet as it continues to manage large container vessels. TTI Algeciras is also expanding its facility; the first phase is expected to increase annual capacity to 2.1 million TEUs by 2028, while a second phase aims to raise capacity to 2.8 million TEUs.

The agreement was booked in Kalmar’s third-quarter 2026 order intake. Kalmar said its local service team will support equipment availability and maintenance at the terminal under the new service agreement.
