Cranex Ltd. has secured a ₹10.87 crore order from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for the supply of electric overhead travelling (EOT) cranes. The contract further strengthens the company’s presence in India’s heavy engineering and industrial equipment sector while reinforcing its relationship with one of the country’s leading public sector engineering companies.
The order involves the design, manufacture, supply, and commissioning of EOT cranes that will support material handling operations at a BHEL facility. The project is expected to enhance operational efficiency and provide reliable lifting solutions for heavy industrial applications.
The latest contract highlights the continued demand for domestically manufactured crane systems as India’s infrastructure and manufacturing sectors expand. Industry experts believe such orders will boost the country’s crane manufacturing industry while supporting the government’s focus on strengthening indigenous industrial capabilities under the “Make in India” initiative.
