AMIO Levage has supplied and installed a 5-tonne overhead crane for an undisclosed industrial client, featuring a reach of 8.7 metres and delivered as a comprehensive turnkey project encompassing design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning.

The crane features a box girder structure with two wire rope hoists, each offering a 6-metre lifting stroke. Schneider drives are fitted across all axes for smoother movement, while radio control allows operators to manage lifting and travel functions. A raised beam was also added to provide greater height under the hook.

The system includes an anti-collision device for operation between bridges and a remote control with a hoist selector, allowing operators to use either one hoist or both depending on the lifting requirement. The project reflects AMIO Levage’s work in providing customised lifting systems for industrial applications.
