Carl Stahl Evita has supplied and assembled a new magnetic lifting beam for handling steel workpieces. The system is built around the Flaig FX-LT750 S beam and uses two FX-VV400 permanent lifting magnets.

The magnets can be repositioned along the beam to accommodate various workpiece sizes. This system is intended for flat steel pieces measuring up to 5,400 mm by 1,500 mm and has a lifting capacity of up to 700 kg for flat materials with a minimum thickness of 15 mm.

The lifting capacity depends on factors including steel thickness, material quality, and any air gap between the magnet and workpiece. The system also features single-handed 90-degree operation and is supplied with documentation confirming compliance with EN 13155 and MRL 2006/42/EE.
