Bertolotti Industries has completed site acceptance tests for a new 63t/10t overhead crane supplied to the Arvedi AST steel plant in Terni. The successful tests have cleared the crane to enter service at the facility.

The crane was manufactured to meet the specific requirements of the steelworks and is designed for its production operations. The Arvedi AST plant produces stainless steel flat products, forgings, and tubes and has been part of the Arvedi Group since 2022.

Bertolotti said the project continues its long-standing relationship with the Terni plant. The company worked across design, manufacturing, and installation to deliver a crane tailored to the customer’s requirements.
