Potain Lends Lifting Power to Bridge Project on Indian Expressway Network

Bridge Project

Potain tower cranes are helping build a cable-stayed bridge on the Mumbai-Pune Motorway bypass project in India. This bridge is part of a major infrastructure effort to improve traffic flow and ease congestion on one of the country’s busiest roads.

Four Potain MCT 385 cranes have been deployed at the project site to handle heavy lifting operations, including movement of structural components, cable-stay pipes, and concrete pouring activities. The cranes are operating at significant heights and have maintained strong performance levels throughout the construction phase.

Project officials said the cranes have helped improve efficiency and support smooth progress under demanding site conditions. To push construction timelines on the prestigious motorway project, teams are deploying crawler and mobile cranes in addition to tower units.
